Edut 710 organization was established with the aim of documenting and preserving the testimonies of the survivors of the October 7th events. The organization has chosen the MasterDAM system from IDEA Information Systems to establish and manage the project’s large digital archive.
The goal of the project is to establish a comprehensive evidence archive with the highest professional and ethical standards that will serve as a national evidence database for the events of October 7th and will be available to the survivors and their families as personal documentation, but also as a historical and documentary source for therapists, researchers, historians, community workers and creators.
The digital archive that is established these days includes many videos with large volumes, 360 videos, photos and more. The organization was looking for an advanced tool for central storage and management of all digital assets and their sharing to create the digital archive.
Among the considerations for choosing the MasterDAM system were the ability to upload files faster (for example compared to Google Drive, which was used at the beginning of the project), the quality of the metadata, the level of detailed authorization and permission management for employees and stakeholders inside and outside the organization, version management capabilities and quick search of assets for users.
