Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) has selected IDEA’s Information Systems’ MasterDAM software to establish and manage an advanced digital photo database aimed at documenting the company’s activities across various sites.
The Israel Electric Corporation is a government-owned and publicly traded company that produces and supplies electricity to all sectors of the Israeli economy. Committed to innovation and efficiency, the Communications and Spokesperson Division works to synchronize the various departments within IEC that manage the company’s image and reputation, striving to enhance the company’s public image and relationships. The division oversees a large and diverse collection of photographs, including images of employees, sites, activities, and events.
In an effort to streamline operations and strengthen public relations, the division sought an advanced system for managing its digital photo archive. As part of this initiative, the department decided to upgrade to a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and chose IDEA’s MasterDAM solution.
The MasterDAM system will enable the division to store, organize, and manage all digital assets in a centralized location, creating an advanced photo archive. This system will ensure that all digital assets are kept in one secure location, significantly reducing search times and facilitating the secure sharing and distribution of assets both within and outside the organization.
With a smart versioning mechanism, updated and approved versions of digital assets will be accessible to all authorized users. Additionally, the system will allow for quick retrieval of photos and related information, efficient sharing within and outside the organization, and prevention of duplicate efforts in restoring lost materials.
